Public-sector procurement

Procurement

StatMap software and services can be procured through established public-sector routes, including Vertical Application Solutions and G-Cloud frameworks where applicable.

Public-sector procurement routes can vary depending on the product, service, hosting approach and project scope. StatMap can help councils and public-sector organisations identify the most appropriate current route for GIS, gazetteer management, case management, public portal, hosting, support and spatial data services.

Available procurement routes

Vertical Application Solutions

Agreement RM6259. StatMap is listed under Lot 3: Housing, Environmental and Planning Solutions, covering planning, building control, local land charges, GIS, environmental, regulatory and built-environment software solutions. Buying routes include direct award and further competition, depending on buyer requirements and framework rules.

G-Cloud 14

Agreement RM1557.14. The current G-Cloud framework for cloud software, cloud hosting and cloud support runs from 29 October 2024 to 28 October 2026. It may be suitable for cloud-based StatMap software or support services where listed and applicable.

G-Cloud 15

Agreement RM1557.15. G-Cloud 15 is expected to replace G-Cloud 14, with an estimated framework award date of 17 September 2026. Contact StatMap for current framework availability and service listings.

RM6259 Vertical Application Solutions

RM6259 Vertical Application Solutions is designed for vertical and sector-specific software-focused solutions. The agreement is currently owned by Government Commercial Agency, formerly Crown Commercial Service, and runs from 7 March 2023 to 6 March 2027. The agreement has 5 lots and 77 suppliers.

StatMap is listed on RM6259 under Lot 3: Housing, Environmental and Planning Solutions. This lot is relevant to StatMap because it includes planning, building control, local land charges, environmental services, regulatory services, GIS and built-environment solutions.

Buyers may use direct award or further competition, depending on their procurement needs and the framework rules.

G-Cloud

G-Cloud is relevant where buyers need cloud software, cloud hosting or cloud support. Public-sector organisations can use it to buy cloud-based computing services where the relevant service is listed and applicable. G-Cloud 14 is agreement RM1557.14 and runs until 28 October 2026.

G-Cloud 15 is agreement RM1557.15 and is expected to replace G-Cloud 14. StatMap expects to maintain a route through G-Cloud 15, subject to final award and publication. Buyers should contact StatMap to confirm current service listings, pricing documents and route suitability.

Which route should I use?

Use RM6259 when the requirement is a vertical local-government software solution, the project involves planning, building control, local land charges, GIS or built-environment services, or the buyer wants a direct award or further competition route under Vertical Application Solutions.

Use G-Cloud when the requirement is cloud software, cloud hosting or cloud support, the service is available through the current G-Cloud catalogue, and the buyer wants to follow the G-Cloud buying process.

StatMap cannot replace buyer-side procurement advice, but we can help provide current framework information, service descriptions and supporting documentation.
