CLUSTER

Business Reporting
&
Information Boards

Rather than using mapping, many users simply want summary information which results from many simple or complex spatial queries of the eVO Platform running in the background. Consumers frequently have no interest in interacting directly with GIS tools and spatial data; they simply want answers derived from underlying spatial analysis and queries to be delivered in an easily digestible form – and instantly.

Cluster: summarising the spatial dimension

Cluster provides fully configurable HTML5 reports – like Information Boards – which present the results of spatial queries as summary business data pages in clear and unambiguous terms. It is a means of quickly retrieving data, and the results of analysis, for locations based upon few [or many] spatial criteria, and which can also be embedded very simply within your organisation’s existing CMS web pages.

Because of its massive configurability and scalability, Cluster applications can be used to serve any industry, organisation or enterprise, providing a simple and easy to use means of obtaining a clear and unambiguous answer to many ‘where and what’ related questions, summarised together on one page.

Delivering results

As a simple example, members of the public might wish to be provided with a comprehensive summary of all services, facilities which serve, or are near to, an address or arbitrary location. Cluster provides searches against addresses to return information which the organisation may wish to publish – such as bin collection days, school catchments, political representatives (e.g. councillors, MPs, etc.), closest GPs, etc.

All distances can be returned either as a real travel times or distance (via road networks), or as straight-line distance (‘as the crow flies’).

Devices

The Responsive Design of all EVO Platform products means that Cluster HTML5 pages adapt to all forms and sizes of device – including tablets, mobiles and smart phones.

Cluster can use in-built GPS capabilities of mobile devices (e.g. smart phones) to identify the location and provide business HTML5 reports based upon the lat / lon coordinates.
